FUJIFILM Business Innovation achieves triple win at EDP Awards 2025

Tokyo, June 5, 2025 – FUJIFILM Business Innovation announces that three of the company's most advanced products and technologies won the EDP Awards 2025, organized by the European Digital Press (EDP) Association.^*1 The three products and technologies that won the EDP Awards are the production printer “Revoria Press^TM SC285S,” the printbar “FUJIFILM DE1024 Printbar,” and the water-based UV ink technology “AQUAFUZE^TM.”

The EDP Awards are given to recognize innovative products and technologies in the digital printing industry, judged by a panel of experts from leading European printing magazines. There are 25 awards in total and FUJIFILM Business Innovation won the awards in three categories.

FUJIFILM Business Innovation won the following awards:

1. Commercial Printing, Best Cutsheet Printer (up to B3 < 250,000 A4/month) Award:

Revoria Press^TM SC285S

The Revoria Press^TM SC285S is a mid-range toner-based press in FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s Revoria Press^TM series, suitable for commercial applications, offering industry leading print quality, versatility and productivity. The product is equipped with a specialty toner station in addition to CMYK, enabling five-color printing in one pass.

2. Finishing & Embellishment, Best Digital Embellishment Packaging Award:

FUJIFILM DE1024 Digital Embellishment Printbar

The FUJIFILM DE1024 Printbar System is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing label presses and other narrow-web machines to add spot varnish flair without additional press. The FUJIFILM DE1024 features the robust StarFire^TM SG1024 printhead, which combines high-jet performance with reliable, robust performance. It is available in a variety of widths, and in single or dual printbar configurations for a range of varnish thicknesses providing gloss or a tactile, raised effect.

3. Inks & Substrates, Best Water-Based Inks Award:

AQUAFUZE^TM

AQUAFUZE^TM is a water-based UV ink technology featured in the 1.6m-wide Acuity Triton,^*2 which was launched at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Germany. This water-based UV ink technology combines many of the advantages of both water-based inks and UV inks, delivering new value in the field of wide-format inkjet printing. It provides safe, odorless ink with high durability during printing, and offers excellent rub resistance and compatibility with a variety of print substrates.
